An update of UNH C* version 4 is now (April 21, 1998) ready! Version 4 now provides support for running on 64-bit SGI multiprocessors, including a C* debugger.
UNH C* is a compiler and run-time system for the data-parallel language C*. The C* language was originally designed and implemented by Thinking Machines Corporation for its Connection Machine systems.
UNH C* was originally developed for the Intel Delta. Ports of the system have been done to the Meiko CS-2, IBM SP-2, nCUBE-2, networks of workstations/PCs, Sun multiprocessors, SGI multiprocessors, and DEC Alpha multiprocessors. UNH C* will also run on a single Unix workstation.
UNH C* (and the MRJ, Inc. cscomm implementation) is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.

If you pick up the system, please send us an e-mail message (pjh@cs.unh.edu) letting us know when you got the system, what you plan to use it for, and whether you want to receive info about future releases, bugs, etc. Thanks!
UNH C* was developed with the support of the National Science Foundation via grants ASC-9208971 and CDA-9421997.
