Computer Science Students Present Research Results at the Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Symposium

The Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Symposium (ISE) features student research with science, engineering and math perspectives.

Students have the opportunity to interact with peers and gain professional experience presenting research.

The program includes a poster session, remarks from University leaders, and an awards ceremony. Cash awards are supported this year by CEPS, CEPS Alumni Society, COLSA, EOS, ERG, NH Space Grant and the Parents Association.

At the 2010 Undergraduate Research Conference, 5 students from the Computer Science Department participated. Research areas included artificial intelligence, operations research & cognitive science, programming language design & implementation, parallel computing, and bioinformatics. Undergraduate students worked with a faculty mentor and completed a poster and oral presentation.
